Where Nature Meets History
Our YouthShops! programs teach a variety of life skills to young local community members. Sunday Creek Associates has been deeply committed to empowering young people in Southern Perry County through youth programming initiatives.
Our year-long and summer programs are always free of charge and aim to engage young local community members and families with hands-on experiences through environmental exploration, STEM learning, outdoor recreation, historical storytelling and more.

Summer YouthShops! (K-12)
Join us this summer for unforgettable outdoor adventures and hands-on learning! Summer YouthShops! take place Monday through Thursday (for grades K-12) and Fridays (7th grade and up) from July 6–31 (4 straight weeks of programming, 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m.). Find out about local wildlife, learn how to write a song, make new friends, and explore where nature meets history.
It’s important that these YouthShops! are accessible for everyone! We’re privileged to offer our summer programming at no cost. Additionally, campers will be provided with a healthy lunch every day.
For campers in 7th grade and up, Fridays (July 10, 17, 24, 31, and August 7 and 14) are Outdoor Adventure Guide (OAG) Days!
Outdoor Adventure Guide Days are limited-space outings, featuring exciting activities like canoeing at Burr Oak, building trails, mountain biking, and paddling the Hocking River.
Whether you're exploring nature's wonders or building new skills, there's something for everyone this summer.
Parents can register students for both Summer YouthShops! and Outdoor Adventure Guides three different ways!

• Come to our Summer YouthShops Open House on Wednesday, June 10th from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Tecumseh Commons, 116 W. Main St., Shawnee OH 43782. Meet our YouthShop directors, enjoy pizza, and register students in-person
